Website Settings

General settings

The General website settings tab is where you can add basic information about your company and edit the general settings for your website. To enter the website settings you need to click on the gear icon and then click on the website settings button.

1. Company information is where you can edit:

  • Company name
  • Expertise
  • Phone
  • Fax
  • Address
  • Email
  • Opening hours of your company

2. Website Settings is where you can edit the basic information about your website, such as:

  • Website name
  • Website Language (The language your website is written in)
  • Description (The meta description is a snippet of up to about 155 characters – a tag in HTML – which summarizes a page's content. This is important for your Google ranking)
  • Keywords (Meta keywords are a list of keywords that help tell search engines what the topic of your page is)
  • Favicon (Favicons are small 16x16 icon files that are displayed next to the URL of your site in a browser's address bar. Additionally, they're often displayed next to the name of your site in a user's list of open tabs and bookmark listings making it easier for the user to quickly identify amongst other sites.)
  • Enable mobile version - If this field is checked, your website will have a mobile version that can be edited separately from the desktop version. If the field is not checked,  your website will have the same version for both mobile and desktop.

Advanced settings

The advanced settings tab is where you can add additional code to your website and links to your social media profiles.


Google verification tag (Used for verifying your domain ownership. Can be done by adding a meta tag or uploading an HTML file to your domain’s website. If your site uses an SSL or TLS certificate, it must include an HTTP to HTTPS redirect for you to verify your domain this way)

Head scripts: Code that is entered in the tag of the website and is applied to your entire website. It can be used as a way to link external resources, add meta data, and use custom styles in your document. 

Footer scripts: Code that is entered in the tag is applied to your entire website and is a way to add additional scripts to your website.

Social accounts: In the Account Management block you can add links to the social media profiles of your company such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube. These links will allow you to add a Social Link menu which will use the links you provided in this section block. In this block, you can also add your Facebook User Id, your Facebook Application Id and Google Author Id.
